    a. Your GlobalSIM number will be shown.

    a. Your GlobalSIM number will be shown.

  4. Will the GlobalSIM work with any phone?
    a. Yes it works with any unlock phone.
  5. Can I receive calls from my local mobile?
    a. Yes. You can divert calls from your mobile to a specific Singapore number we provide.
  6. Can GlobalSIM be used just for data? E.g. iPad?
    a. Yes it can.
  7. Can I use it on my BlackBerry to retrieve email?
    a. No, if you are using BES for email. Your internet email such as Gmail and Hotmail will work fine
  8. Is there any monthly or daily package for data roaming?
    a. We only provide a per usage charge for data roaming now.

How to use

  1. Must I have the country code whenever making a call?
    a. Yes. Country/area code must be included in all outgoing calls.
  2. How do I receive calls to my home mobile on GlobalSim?
    a. Just set call forwarding to a specific local number given to you. The number should be written on the SIM card holder given with your GlobalSIM.
  3. Can I send SMS?
    a. Yes. Send sms as usual. Your recipient will see your GlobalSIM number.
  4. Do I need to change any setting on my phone to use GlobalSIM?
    a. Only for data roaming. Just change the APN to ‘send.ee’ and turn on Data Roaming on your phone to start surfing. The setting automatically changes back when you change back to your local SIM.
  5. Must I select the operator to connect to while overseas?
    a. GlobalSIM will automatically connect to the operator. You do not have to manually select.

Troubleshooting

  1. My GlobalSim cannot register on the roaming network?
    a. Turn off your mobile. Remove the battery for 20s. Insert back the battery and turn on your phone.
  2. I forgot my GlobalSIM number!
    a. The number should be written on SIM card holder given with your GlobalSIM. Alternatively, just dial 099 to retrieve your number.
